Asthma & Allergy Treatment

Our staff have over 30 years experience in treating asthma. We conduct allergy testing and provide treatments. In addition, we are experienced in evaluating environmental allergy exposures, including mold.

Dr. Potkin has extensive experience in treating difficult-to-control asthma. He utilizes allergy skin testing and the latest in asthma treatment modalities, namely, omalizumab, a monoclonal antibody directed at IgE (immune globulin).

Dr. Potkin is also an authority on asthma in sports such as scuba diving. He wrote the position paper for the California Thoracic Society on “Asthma and Sport Scuba Diving,” which is the reference article for pulmonologists nation wide.
