JUH
Lupus Patient
"As a middle aged woman with a hectic travel, social, and business schedule, a chronic illness (lupus) and a religious beauty and health regiment, I have become a true devotee of the hyperbaric oxygen chamber.
I was diagnosed with SLE Lupus approximately 10 years ago, at that time I asked my Doctor if he thought that the Hyperbaric chamber could be of any assistance in avoiding lupus “flare ups”, His response at the time was: “anything that keeps you quiet, relaxed, and avoiding outside contact and stresses, certainly couldn’t hurt you”. Expecting little more than “90 minutes of peace”, I decided to give a Hyperbaric chamber a try; I was beyond pleasantly surprised after no more than 2 sessions; I felt sheer relaxation while in the chamber and sheer energy and exhilaration upon exiting the chamber. I soon noticed that my skin seemed smoother and re-energized. As well, it seems that little cuts and bruises healed noticeably faster when visiting the chamber on a regular basis."
A few years ago my husband and I decided to have a little “ eye lift” together and based on my positive past experience( as well as a strong suggestion from our plastic surgeon) we visited the hyperbaric chambers PRE & POST procedure, within 5 days of surgery, we were out to dinner in public with minimal bruising. We are both sure that the pure oxygen was an integral player in our expeditious healing .
When we are at our home in Beverly Hills we are blessed to be near Hyperbaric Oxygen chambers just down the hill, we have not been so lucky when in our other homes . Last summer I suffered a severe cut on my foot while in Sun Valley, Idaho which ended up with me in the hospital emergency room and having a minor procedure due to infection, had I been near a hyperbaric chamber I am sure that with a visit or 2 I would not have succumbed to the infection.
Hyperbaric Oxygen has become as much a part of our health and overall welfare as teeth cleaning and massages!
